Dr. Alejandra Ferrer, PhD, MT-BC, Coordinator of Belmont’s Music Therapy Department, will provide an overview of Alzheimer’s, dementia, and other memory disorders and their effects on individuals and families. She will also explain how to integrate music into everyday life to enhance relationships, moods, communication, and preserve cognitive skills regardless of one’s age or stage of life.
