About Bellevue Presbyterian Church

Our services start bright and early every Sunday morning at 10:30AM. Whether you’re a veteran Presbyterian or a first-time churchgoer who hasn’t got a clue what Christianity is all about, we hope you’ll join us on our faith journey!

Vibrant, Diverse & Inclusive

Bellevue Presbyterian Church is a part of the Presbyterian Church USA located in the heart of Bellevue, Tennessee. We were established in 1967 when our 62 charter members gathered to profess their desire to introduce Christ to the fast-growing Bellevue community. Today Bellevue has a much larger and more diverse population, and BPC is constantly seeking new ways to minister to our changing community through our worship services and outreach programs.

Some churches are somber, but there’s plenty of joyful noise around here, with kids running in the halls, lively discussions in our adult Sunday school classes, and babies howling in the nursery. Whether you’re a veteran Presbyterian or a first-time churchgoer who hasn’t got a clue what Christianity is all about, we hope you’ll join us on our faith journey!

What We Believe

As Presbyterian Christians we believe that God is sovereign and loving and that we are saved solely by the grace of God, not by our good works.  We believe that Christ is the Son of God.  In his life, death, and resurrection he shows us what God is like and we are to be like.  We believe that God still works in the world today through the power of the Holy Spirit, who inspires men and women to faith and sustains us on our journey.  We believe that in life and in death we belong to God.

Structure & Government

BPC is a congregation of the Presbyterian Church (USA), the Synod of Living Waters and the Presbytery of Middle Tennessee. We are governed by our Session (Elders), a group of men and women, elected by the congregation to serve a three-year term, along with our Pastor. Through its committees, the Session is responsible for all the programs and activities of the church. Our Deacons provide a very important ministry to our congregation. These men and women share in the pastoral care of our members through regular and personal contact with their “flocks”.
